## A bug in TexShop 4.20?

I just downloaded the new version of TS and whenever I use the autocompletion keystroke for environmentsCommand+Control+C there is a “92” instead of the \ for the command. For example when I write  \begin{theorem} $x = x$and then I use the keystroke Command+Control+C, I used to get \end{theorem}But now I get 92end{theorem}.Anyone else noticing this behaviour?Greetings, and thanks to Dick, Herb, and everyone else for their excellent work in developing and maintaining TeX on the Mac.----------- Please Consult the Following Before Posting ----------- TeX FAQ: http://www.tex.ac.uk/faqList Reminders and Etiquette: https://sites.esm.psu.edu/~gray/tex/List Archives: http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.tex.macosx                https://email.esm.psu.edu/pipermail/macosx-tex/TeX on Mac OS X Website: http://mactex-wiki.tug.org/List Info: https://email.esm.psu.edu/mailman/listinfo/macosx-tex

## Re: A bug in TexShop 4.20?

In reply to this post by Herbert Schulz Same here.So it’s impossible to avoid the 92 bug by using the Sparkle update mechanism from within the app?Does downloading and installing the full version mess up any customizations  in ~/Library/TeXShop or ~/Library/Preferences/TeXShop?On 11 Dec2018, at 8:42 AM, Herbert Schulz <[hidden email]> wrote:On Dec 11, 2018, at 7:36 AM, Alessandro Andretta <[hidden email]> wrote:Via Sparkle On 11 Dec 2018, at 14:35, Herbert Schulz <[hidden email]> wrote:On Dec 11, 2018, at 4:52 AM, Alessandro Andretta <[hidden email]> wrote:I just downloaded the new version of TS and whenever I use the autocompletion keystroke for environmentsCommand+Control+C there is a “92” instead of the \ for the command. For example when I write  \begin{theorem} $x = x$and then I use the keystroke Command+Control+C, I used to get \end{theorem}But now I get 92end{theorem}.Anyone else noticing this behaviour?Greetings, and thanks to Dick, Herb, and everyone else for their excellent work in developing and maintaining TeX on the Mac.Howdy,Did you update using Sparkle or did you download the complete file from the TeXShop Web Site, ?Good Luck,Herb Schulz(herbs at wideopenwest dot com)Howdy,Try downloading the full version from the site noted above.
