I apologize for this flurry of updates. The goal is to get TeXShop working well on Mojave as soon as possible, since Mojave is an impressive, stable system which users will enjoy.
The issue fixed in this release is unrelated to issues addressed in other TeXShop releases. For added security, Apple sandboxed AppleEvents, an action which impacted TeXShop Applescript Macros. Sometime between the Developer Conference in June and the release of Mojave, Apple added an additional required field in the application Info.plist if the application wants to send AppleEvents to other applications. Once this field is in place, the system puts up an alert when such an event is to be sent, allowing the user to OK or prohibit this interaction. If you use apple script macros, you will begin to see these alerts after this update.
